Hourly workers will be getting a bit more money in the new year.

The Missouri Department of Labor says the state’s minimum wage rate for 2021 will go up to $10.30 per hour.

It’s a result of Proposition B, passed by voters in 2018, which provides an 85-cent per hour increase through 2023.

The law does not apply to public employers.
