Missouri’s unemployment rate has equaled an all-time low. The October rate was down 1/10th of a percent to 3.1%. That ties the lowest number recorded since the Department of Economic Development began tracking the data in 1976. The last time the state’s unemployment rate was this low was between October of 1999 and January of 2000. The jobless rate has dropped 1/10th of a percent in five consecutive months and has been below the national figure for three and a half years.
