A local electric company is helping to get Florida back to normal conditions after the destruction of Hurricane Irma. The Laclede Electric Cooperative is one of several across the state that are sending linemen and equipment to Florida. LEC is sending eight linemen, two digger-derrick trucks and two bucket trucks. In all, 26 cooperatives will be sending 154 workers to help restore power in the Sunshine State.
