The Missouri National Guard celebrated the death of Al Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, yesterday, releasing a statement that called the mission a major victory for our forces in Afghanistan. They’ve also increased security measures at all their facilities.
Meantime, about 760 members of the National Guard are fighting the flood waters and providing protection for property that families have left behind in the southeast part of the state. The Army Corps of Engineers blew up the levee at Birds Point New Madrid Floodway, last night.
