Missouri is joining the list of states providing assistance along the border with Mexico. Governor Eric Greitens has authorized the use of the National Guard troops and resources to support customs and border security agents. Four soldiers and a Lakota helicopter have been deployed to Arizona where they’ll provide aerial surveillance. Their mission is defined as a support role and they will not be conducting law enforcement missions as part of the deployment, which should last until mid-summer.
