The Iowa Caucus may have surpassed many people’s expectations with all the political fireworks. And now the campaigns for both parties are headed to New Hampshire. But what about Missouri? Where does the Show-Me State fit into the presidential primary process? Here is the answer: Missourians will have to patiently wait anther six weeks. Arkansas will hold its primary on March 1st with Missouri’s primary to be held on March 15th. In 2012, Missouri held both a primary and a caucus due to a glitch in legislation. The problem arose as a result of a change in the nominating rules of the Republican Party. This time, however there will only be a primary. In 2012, Rick Santorum was the winner of the Missouri Primary. Campaign ads will soon dominate the airwaves and television screens as candidates attempt to sway voters with their message.
