Missourians Encouraged to Participate in Census

Missourians are being encouraged to participate in this year’s census count. John Shikles is the Director of Census Operations for Missouri. He says the count is important for more than just determining representation in Washington and Jefferson City.

That money is used for education, housing, and health care, among others. The census bureau is encouraging you to respond online at www.my2020census.gov. You’ll be receiving an invitation in the mail. The first day you can respond is March 12th.
