For the second time in two months, a health care provider is reporting personal information of some people they provide care for may have been compromised. MO Health Net, which serves Camden, Miller and Morgan counties, is notifying more than 25 thousand people that their information may have mailed to an incorrect address by Infocrossing, Inc., one of their contractors. The blame is being placed on a computer system error that was discovered on July 25th. The type of information released includes names, dates of birth, MO HealthNet identification account number, county name, phone number, and either the last four digits of the social security number, or the full social security number. Officials say no medical or financial information was released. In August, MO Health Net says 13 hundred people that some of their personal information had also been mailed to an incorrect address.
