The Missouri House of Representatives is canceling session next week, as COVID-19 cases continue to rise around the Capitol.

According to a release, the house is exercising an abundance of caution to protect staff, members and visitors.

It also means that house members will not be in session during President-Elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.

At this time, it’s unknown if the Senate will follow suit, but we will keep you posted on this developing story.
