The Missouri job market showed improvement in the month November.

New numbers show 17,400 jobs were added during the month for an unemployment rate of 4.4-percent, and that’s down from 4.6-percent in October.

But due to continued layoffs from COVID-19, the November 2020 unemployment rate still falls one percentage point higher than the unemployment rate posted in November of 2019.
