A pair of highway repair projects have been approved that will affect roads in the lake area. MoDot has announced that they’ll be applying microsurfacing to a 50-mile stretch of Route 17 over four counties between Iberia in Miller County and Roby in Texas County. The other project actually covers improvements on four roads in Camden and Miller counties. It includes pavement and shoulder work on Route KK between Osage Beach Parkway and Turkey Bend Road. Pavement improvements are also slated for Business Route 54 between the Osage River and Grand Glaize Bridge and Route 242 and MM between 54 and the community bridge. Both sets of projects will take place in 2019.
