The Missouri Department of Transportation has several projects going on this week across the tri-county area. In Camden county, roadway resurfacing on route 7 between route 5 and 65 in Benton county is nearing completion while pavement and sidewalk improvements are underway on route 54 at business route 5 and is also expected to be finished next month. Roadside maintenance is taking place today (monday) and tomorrow (tuesday) on route “A” between 54 and route “E”.
In Miller county, MODOT will be doing bridge maintenance today (monday) in the east and westbound lanes on route 54 over the Osage river, west of river road. Culvert pipe replacement on route 87 between route “P” and route “A” in Moniteau county starts today (monday) as well, while roadside maintenance on route “D” between oak bend road and the end of state maintenance will take place today and tomorrow.
In Morgan county, culvert pipe replacement in various locations on route “BB” between route 135 and route “D” begins tomorrow (tuesday) while pipe replacement is also taking place on route “JJ” between route 135 and “D” starts today (monday). One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic thru the work areas.
