MoDOT is hosting a public meeting later this month to discuss bridge replacement in Camden County. The proposed project is to replace the bridges on Route J over the Little Niangua and Rainwater Creek. The original bridges are over 80 years old. The plan is to construct the new bridges to be six foot wider. MoDOT hopes to begin construction during the summer of next year. The public meeting for the project will be at the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday, May 22nd from 4-6 p.m. It will be informal so anyone with questions can come at any time between those hours to ask any questions they may have.
