Stop light improvements will soon be underway in Richland. The Missouri Department of Transportation will make improvements to the signal lights at the intersection of Routes 7 and 133 in Richland. The contract for this project was recently approved by the Missouri highways and transportation commission. Under the contract, the current signal lights will be taken down and placed on poles across the intersection in hopes to make the intersection safer for drivers. The new signals are inspected to be installed in the Spring and Summer of 2014.
