As more winter weather is predicted, travel conditions around the lake are once again impeded. Emergency crews have been dispatched to a number of accidents and stranded motorists. Calls started coming in around 6am as people began their morning commutes. Another winter weather advisory has been issued that will be in effect overnight until approximately noon on Friday. That front is expected to bring as much as three inches of additional accumulation accompanied by a glaze of ice. As always, motorists are advised to be aware of road conditions, allow extra travel time, and make sure you have an emergency kit in your vehicle in case you get stranded.
