The crackdown on synthetic drugs continues. Two businesses in Leclede County were raided by local police, sheriff’s deputies and DEA agents Wednesday. Authorities confirm they were looking for so-called bath salts, K-2 and Spice after officers made undercover buys at Lucky’s Novelties in Lebanon, and synthetic drugs were also found at Jefferson Package. Earlier this month, two stores in Camdenton were raided – Hippie Spirit and Puff’N’Stuff. And it’s now been lerarned that a search warrant was also served at the Straight Aces tattoo parlor in Osage Beach.
Crocker Police Chief Chris Twitchel will be conducting another Forum on Synthetic Drugs next week at the Camdenton Museum in Linn Creek. He’ll be discussing “bath salts,” “potpourri,” and the synthetic substitute for marjuana created by spraying chemicals on a green, leafy plant material and sold as K-2, or Spice:
The forum will take place Wednesday, August 1st, at 6:30 p.m.
