More Charges Filed Against Eldon Man Accused Of Murder

More charges are being added against an Eldon man accused of Murder.

According to the Miller County attorney’s office, 57-year-old Terry Ewens is not only facing 1^st degree murder charges in the death of a 71-year-old woman, but now faces eight other charges including Assault, Burglary and Kidnapping.

Ewens was taken into custody following a standoff with police earlier this month in Rocky Mount, where they found the 71-year-old woman unresponsive.

A 51-year-old Woman and an 82-year-old man were also held up in the house and did suffer minor injuries in the stand-off.

If convicted of 1^st degree murder, Ewens faces life in prison or the death penalty.
