A Kansas man accused of robbing a bank in Versailles is now facing new charges in Camden County. Prosecuting Attorney Heather Miller requested and received a warrant for Jacob Allen Monteer on charges of resisting arrest by fleeing and tampering with a motor vehicle. Monteer allegedly led authorities on a pursuit that included the bank robbery, a car accident, shooting at law enforcement, and a physical altercation with Morgan County Sheriff Norman Dills. He was originally facing 16 charges before being indicted on federal charges in January. The Camden County charges stem from that same morning last November.
