The Department of Conservation is expanding restrictions on feeding deer after finding evidence of chronic wasting disease in or near seven additional counties. The new counties affected are Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Grundy, Madison, McDonald, Mercer, and Perry. Starting July 1st you’ll no longer be able to put out grain or minerals to feed the deer in those areas. They join 41 other counties already included in the CWD Management Zone, including Miller, Moniteau, Morgan, and Osage.
