Two people charged with burglary in Camden County apparently kicked in a back door to gain access to a residence in order to steal from it. The incident happened late last week at a property on Horseshoe Bend Parkway. The Camden County sheriff’s office reports that a man called them after finding the two suspects in a home owned by his mother. They initially told him they had permission to be in the home but the owner said that was untrue. When the authorities were called, the suspects fled through the back of the home and left the scene in a black Dodge Dart. Among the items taken were clothing, pots, decorative rocks, some crystal, and other items, totaling over $1600 in value. Alicia McCullough of Lake Ozark and Bryan Coleman of Kansas City are both charged with burglary and stealing. McCullough, who allegedly drove the getaway car, is also charged with driving without a valid license.
