The Camden County Sheriff’s office has released more details on a pair of recent burglary arrests. Captain Chris Twitchel says the sheriff’s office and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group were conducting a narcotics investigation when they served a warrant at a Camdenton home on Thursday. While they were conducting their search, they located approximately $12,000 worth of items believed to have been stolen locally. The stash included flat screen televisions, tools, and “residential accessories.” Authorities also found meth, pot, and paraphernalia. The investigation led to the arrests of 24-year old Macy Jenkins and 30-year old Lucas Newman. Both are charged with second-degree burglary, stealing, and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Newman also faces a charge for property damage.
