We aren’t in the clear yet in terms of potential weather problems. The National Weather Service says there is potential for major flooding throughout the state over the holiday weekend. The largest areas of concern are Boonville, Hermann, Washington, and of course Jefferson City, where officials are warning of a potential levee breach. MoDot is advising motorists who plan to travel to plan their route in advance and scout it out for possible problems with running or stationary water. There is a chance of rain or storms four of the next six days.
