Two Morgan County deputies are being credited with a high water rescue. Sheriff Norman Dills says deputies David Lobaugh and Cody Schmitz responded to a vehicle that was nearly fully submerged during their shift on Tuesday. The vehicle was stranded in water at a secondary crossing. The deputies entered the water and were able to get the driver out of the vehicle to safety. As always, authorities urge drivers not to enter standing water….you can not tell what condition the roadway is in beneath the water.
