An accident late last evening in Morgan County leaves a man in serious condition after he was ejected from his motorcycle. James Bowland of Versailles, was driving his 2007 Honda motorcycle on Ivy bend road a half of a mile south of web loop when the driver began to navigate a turn. He ran off of the right side of the roadway and struck a rock. Bowland was immediately ejected and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia. Bowland was wearing a safety device during the accident.
