A recent study evaluated what Americans are most curious about, based on internet search queries. Whether it’s debunking an urban myth or searching for security in a dangerous world, we’ve got some pretty interesting concerns. In Arizona and Minnesota, they want to know if it’s safe to shower in a thunderstorm. Michigan residents want to know if it’s safe to date. Missourians want to know if it’s safe to use Facebook. And there must be something about the city of El Paso that raises red flags, because residents of the state of Texas tend to ask Google regularly if it’s safe to live there.
