A Syracuse woman dies in a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon in Morgan County. At 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon, 43-year old Katherine Chappell was riding her 1997 Honda south on Route W, one mile south of the Marvin cutoff road, when she missed a curve and the bike skidded across the centerline. Chappell was thrown from the bike. She was wearing a helmet and suffered fatal injuries. This is fatality #46 for Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F in 2011.
