The Missouri State Highway Patrol might be looking for you. If you are interested in becoming a state trooper, the Patrol is now testing to find new recruits. The Patrol is encouraging qualified individuals of all backgrounds to apply, and will offer testing at nine different locations in Missouri. The application deadline is March 28, 2013. The selection process includes: a written test, a physical fitness for duty assessment, polygraph examination, background investigation, and oral interview board.

To be eligible candidates must possess a minimum of 60 college credits, or two years of federal active duty military service with an honorable discharge, or two years of POST certified, full-time law enforcement experience at the time recruit training begins.
