A multi-agency operation in Camden County leads to the arrests of two people on several felony drug charges. Sheriff Tony Helms says a controlled delivery of narcotics took place over the weekend to an address in Sunrise Beach. Following the delivery, search warrants were executed at three different addresses in connection to the investigation in Sunrise Beach. Allegedly seized during the searches were large quantities of xanax, suboxone, GHB, marijuana and LSD. Taken into custody were 31-year-old Rachel Marie Tapp from Sunrise Beach and Danny Ray Ramsey, Junior, from Gravois Mills. They are both charged with trafficking drugs or attempt first-degree, and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Tapp, who also has an open felony drug case in Morgan County, is being held on a $50-thousand cash-only bond while Ramsey, who also has an open case in Morgan County is being held on a $100-thousand cash-only bond. Agencies participating in the operation, in addition to Camden County, included: the Lake Area Drug Task Force (LANEG), the highway patrol, homeland security and the United States Post Office.
