An Eldon woman with a history of felony drug charges in the courtroom, who was just recently released on O-R bonds for two open cases containing a combined six more felony drug charges, now faces a second-degree murder charge for providing or injecting heroin causing an overdose death. That’s according to the probable cause statement filed in Miller County indicating that Lisa Abbett, also going by the name of Lisa Shockley, and her husband Greg Abbett had been at the residence of Charles Weatherford, on West 8th Street, during the evening hours of July 27th. Misses Abbett, allegedly, admitted during questioning that all three had been using heroin which may have been the cause of death for Weatherford…an autopsy was performed but results are still pending and have not been released. Misses Abbett, also charged with delivery of a controlled substance, claims that she had purchased the drugs from another individual, Steven Degraffenreid, who was charged in connection to an alleged stabbing of Greg Abbett just the night before in an apparent dispute over money. Lisa Abbett, or Shockley, is being held without bond in the Miller County Jail.
