A person of interest in connection to last week’s double murder and subsequent arson apparently trying to cover up the crime near Camdenton is now in custody facing several pending charges including two counts of First Degree Murder. 54-year-old Steven Ray Endsley also faces two pending counts of Armed Criminal Action and one count each of First Degree Burglary and Second Degree Arson. It’s believed that Endsley killed the two occupants of the mobile home on Parkway Court and then set the early morning fire. Although no names have officially been released, the bodies of who was believed to have been Danielle Smith and Teresa Kennedy were discovered afterward in the charred remains. Endsley was booked into the Camden County Jail just after 6:25 Saturday morning (Sep. 03) and is being held on no bond. He has a court date set for October 4th.
