One of the suspects in the William Van Note murder case is due back in court later this week. On Monday, 42-year old Desre Dory of Shawnee, Kansas was supposed to appear in a Boone County court room for a hearing with his attorney, but they were not there. Scheduling paperwork was also supposed to be filed with the court, but that was also not completed. Judge Gary Oxenhandler ordered Dory and his attorney to appear on Friday afternoon. Dory is charged with second degree murder and forgery in the death of Van Note in October of 2010. Dory remains free on bond.
