The murder trial for a man accused of killing two people in an accident last year in Cole County is expected to wrap up today in Camden County. 41-year old Damien Bryan is facing two counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of 58-year old Donald Edwards of Russellville and 75-year old Joan Hamilton of Lenexa, Kansas. After a 12 person jury was seated yesterday, seven witnesses testified for the state before one witness testified for the defense. Prosecutors say Bryan was allegedly driving drunk when he caused the three vehicle crash last August. Bryan’s first trial ended in a mistrial last month. It was moved to Camden County on a change of venue.
