The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch in effect through Monday Morning for Camden, Miller, Morgan, Benton, Laclede, Dallas, Hickory, Pulaski and Maries counties. National weather service office is expecting to see multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall across the Ozarks through the weekend. Meteorologist Ray Miller with the Weather Eye Weather Center explains:
With saturated soils and more heavy rainfall expected, flash flooding is a big concern especially over creeks, streams and area low water crossings as well as possible river flooding in some locations. The watch stays in effect again until Monday morning.
