Netflix Show “Ozark” Captures 18 Emmy Nominations

The Netflix sensation “Ozark” based on the Lake area is getting high honors by the 2020 Emmy Awards.

The show capturing 18 nominations for Netflix, including best drama series, best lead actor in Jason Bateman and lead actress in Laura Linney.

In total, Netflix received over 160 nominations for their various shows, setting an Emmy Award record and unseating the position long held by HBO.

The 2020 Emmy Awards are set to take place on September 20^th and it will be hosted on ABC.
