We’ve told you about a proposed bus service for the Bagnell Dam strip. While that project is still in the developmental stage, another new bus line is a done deal. And it will start in July.
Ed Thomas from the Lake of the Ozarks Transportation Council says OATS will operate the line, and the cost to ride will be $2 per trip. The route will utilize two busses, running 10 hours a day, five days a week. The deviated route is expected to improve mobility for seniors and the disabled, as well as improved transportation for employees who need rides to work. The goal is to eventually connect the new deviated route to the proposed route for servicing the Bagnell Dam strip. You can see a map of the deviated route on our website, www.krmsradio.com.
