New gun owners in Pulaski County will have to wait a while to get their Conceal Carry permits.

Sheriff Jimmy Bench says they are suspending all new registrations out of a strong concern for their rising cases of COVID 19.

Bench says the decision follows a recent administrative order of the courts.

This applies to new applicants only and those who wish to renew existing licenses can do so by contacting the Sheriffs office for an appointment.

It’s unlikely the permit process will return until Pulaski County enters a phase 2 in the fight against the Coronavirus.
