Some much-needed relief is finally in sight for the 26th Judicial Circuit. Governor Jay Nixon, on Wednesday, appointed Associate Circuit Judge Peggy D. Richardson to fill the position which was created earlier this year by Senate Bill 578. The Honorable Judge Richardson earned her law degree at the University of Missouri. She has served on the Associate level in Moniteau County having been re-elected four times since first being chosen by the voters in 1998. The new circuit position was created due to an overload of cases being heard in Camden, Miller, Morgan, Moniteau and Laclede counties.
