The brand new legislative district is drawing republican primary challengers. The 123rd Missouri House Of Representatives district will hold it’s first elections in 2012. The boundaries are defined as the southern half of Camden county and north and eastern Laclede county. It will include Camdenton, Richland, Eldridge and half of Lebanon. Diane Franklin, currently serving the 155th district is a resident of Camdenton and is expected to run for the seat. Todd Skelton and Chase Waggoner are also potential candidates. The filing period runs from February 28th through March 27th.
