Construction of a new facility for the Ivy Bend food pantry in Morgan County will soon get underway. A groundbreaking ceremony recently took place for the new facility which according to pantry President Charlie Myrick will serve a variety of purposes.
Myrick says the old food pantry will be turned into a medical center which will also offer counseling services to the residents of the ivy bend area. A number of dignitaries were on hand for the ceremony including Austin Kramer from U.S. Representative Vicky Hartzler’s office along with Missouri Senator Mike Kehoe and State Representative David Wood.
