The Missouri Department of Social Services has a new web site that they say makes it easier to collect child support payments from non-custodial parents. When a company hires someone who owes child support, the company is required to report their employment within twenty days, and previously that involved a lot of paperwork. Now, they can enter the information at Missouri employer dot dss dot mo dot gov. They estimate that the new system will increase child support collections by nearly eight million dollars within two years.
