The Camden County Courthouse has a new-look to it. Officials from the courthouse and the sheriff’s department, this past week, officially unveiled a new sign which is posted on the courthouse to recognize the 75th anniversary of D-Day in conjunction with the county’s first-scheduled Veteran’s Court. The sign simply reads “We Support Our Troops,” and replaces the old sign which was about 20 years old and not in the best of shape. Sheriff Tony Helms gave credit to Will Jennings, with Eyedeal Dezignz who donated labor to make the sign, and Mel Miller in the maintenance department for placing the lighted sign on the building. The sign serves as an on-going tribute to all veterans…past and present.
