A St. Joseph, Missouri, man already out on bond for being involved in a fatal boating accident over Memorial Day Weekend now finds himself staring at a considerably higher bond for the same incident. 41-year-old Cletus Barsch was, alleged, to be drunk when he was the operator of one boat on the main channel which turned right while the second boat turned left trying to avoid each other, instead, colliding with each other. A 20-year-old passenger in the second boat died about a month later in Des Moines. Barsch had been released a few days after the accident when he posted a $25-thousand bond. Since then, a warrant has been issued for Barsch charging him with BWI causing the death of another. Three others, including a 14-year-old, were also injured in the accident. Bond is now set for Barsch at $75-thousand.
