The next phase of an ongoing project to repair nine bridges along Route 54 gets underway Monday. MoDot crews will start working on the eastbound bridge over Rock Island Railroad just east of 87 in Eldon. Work will reduce eastbound traffic to one lane around the clock through mid-December. They’ll be repairing the deck and applying a new concrete overlay. The entire project, which stretches from Brazito to Lake of the Ozarks, is scheduled for completion by the end of next June.
