The nightly rental bill that has so many concerned, including the Missouri Board of Realtors, is now headed to the Senate. House Bill 608 was read for a third time Thursday afternoon and passed to the Senate by a vote of 90-49. Lake Area Representative Rocky Miller voted in favor of the bill, while Representative Diane Franklin did not. The Board of Realtors has stated that, as of right now, they do not support the bill. However, Board President Ryan Gattermeier has said that if the amendments they proposed are added that opposition would change.
