We’re just 5 days away from the deadline for non-profit’s in the Lake community to apply for grant funding from the Community Foundation of the Lake.
The money is part of a donation from Ameren Missouri, which provided the CFL with $48,000 in emergency funding for non-profits battling COVID 19.
The application runs until November 15th and you can apply for it at cfozarks.org/applyforgrants.
Agencies may apply for up to $10,000 in grant support from this program.
Lead applicant agencies must be nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations, government entities, school districts, or tax-exempt faith based organizations.
In awarding grants, the CFO will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status. As part of the grant process, all grantees will be required to affirm that, in providing services funded in whole or in part by a CFO grant, the grantee will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status either in its employment practices or in its policies and procedures concerning access to services.
Applications are due by November 15, 2020 at 11:45 p.m.

Ameren made the $111,000 donation through the AmerenCares Power of Giving COVID-19 Relief Fund, held at the St. Louis Community Foundation, to support agencies in the shared service area of Ameren and the CFO. Ameren employees and its board of directors contributed more than $800,000 to the fund, which also is supporting agencies in Illinois and the St. Louis region.
