More than 200,000 gallons of water were used over the past week to extinguish a number of fires in the Gravois Fire District.
Officials say they responded on Wednesday to a fire that consumed numerous haybales on a farm off Route TT.
Then on Thursday, Gravois fire put out a 2-alarm fire that engulfed a metal building in Laurie.
That fire is now under investigation.
Also on Thursday, the Osage Beach Fire Protection District responded to a residential fire.
Crews say they found a shed fully involved, along with two homes partially involved.
Officials say a man sustained major burns across his body and he did not survive.
His cause of death is now under investigation.
