Numerous Items Missing Following Break-in At Rocky Mount Fire Station

An investigation remains ongoing after someone broke into the Rocky Mount Fire Station # on Z road, stealing numerous pieces of fire equipment.

According to the district, they are missing two chain saws, leaf blowers, a vent saw and a self-contained breathing apparatus.

“We are missing the following items so far:

-Two Stihl Chain Saws

-Two Stihl Leaf Blowers

-One Cutters Edge Vent Saw

-One Scott Self Contained Breathing Apparatus”

Crews are taking additional inventory to see if anything else is missing.
