Several Lake Area school districts now have that new COVID-19 test kit.

According to numbers given by DESE and the DHHS, School of the Osage has received 200 of the 400 test kits requested, but none have been used.

The Camdenton R-III school district ordered over 48-hundred of the kits and it’s received close to 2-thousand.

The district says 22 of the tests have been used.

Macks Creek R-V schools orderd just under 400 of the test kits and 160 have arrived with ten being administered.

The Eldon R-I school district ordered over 22-hundred test kits and it’s also received 40-percent of the number ordered.

The test kit is a nasal swab that can show results in around 15 minutes.
