Researchers all across the state are noticing a trend of trees dying unexplainably. Hank Stetzer, Forester for the University of Missouri, says the damage could have been caused by a number of droughts that have happened over the course of several decades.
White Oaks are usually known to live for over two hundred years, while Red Oaks live for about ninety years.
