The Osage Beach police department will be participating in a special enforcement campaign tomorrow (Friday). The click it or ticket campaign is an attempt to get motorists to buckle up and save more lives. As of February 1st, 54 people have been killed on Missouri’s roadways so far this year. Last year 759 people were killed and 70 percent of them were not wearing seatbelts. Police say despite evidence proving the benefits of wearing a seat belt, nearly one in four motorists in Missouri are still not buckling up.
